Where to getaway this season and what to wear to these dream destination

Looking to warm up the winter months and swap the colder climate for a sandy beach? Or maybe you want to celebrate the chill and indulge your inner ski bunny? Whatever temperature you’re craving, we know the Emma Wallace woman is after some serious winter wanderlust.

With that in mind, we’re rounding up the five places we’d head to this season to make new memories. Read on as we reveal all…

Dash For Dubai

If you want to dial up the glam this winter, then you can’t beat the thriving city of Dubai. Endless sunshine, spotless beaches and incredible service as superb hotels are just the start. Why not book a desert trip on dune buggies (or a camel) to discover the sandier side of this destination?

We’d head to the Jumeirah Mina A’Salam which has been dubbed the Dubai Insider’s hotel for being cooler and more understated than some of it’s more famous neighbours. Book in for the bottomless Yum Cha Brunch at Zheng Hes for carefully crafted dim sum and free-flowing beverages set to live entertainment. We’d wear our Kizzy Trouser and Estelle Top co-ord to have a monochrome moment that will stand out from the crowd. Wear with skyscraper black barely there sandals and slick your hair back for a look that has serious impact.

Make For The Maldives

MaldivesNow there’s no bad time to head to the Maldives, but, in the winter, these perfect little islands offer up a fantasy sandy escape filled with luxurious indulgence. The blissed-out beaches will set the scene for some serious sunbathing and the beautiful huts on the ocean were made for Instagram.

We love the Gili Lankanfushi resort which sits on one of the most beautiful lagoons. Sipping a cocktail whilst staring at the ocean from the Overwater Bar is beyond special. Feeling at one with the sand, we’d keep it a touch boho with our Aster Maxi dress. Go shoe free, wear your hair in loose waves and get ready to reconnect with nature.

Vacate to Val Thorens

The highest ski resort in Europe, Val Thorens in France stands at an impressive 3,230m above sea level. This altitude means you’ll find the freshest powder all winter with a unique snow guarantee.

Book into the stunning Hotel Koh-I Nor for a luxury experience. Spend the day hitting the slopes before heading to exclusive terrace where you can sip red wine or hot chocolate as you watch the sun set over the incredible mountains. For that apres-ski vibe it’s all about our cosy yet chic, Cam Jumper with its stunning zip detail. Wear with our BTW Jeggings and a pair of cosy short UGGs to complete the look.

Trek To Taghazout

Morocco is a feast for the senses – buzzing bizarres, amazing architecture and scent-sational spices filling the air. Whilst Marrakesh is on everyone’s list, we’re backing Taghazout as the NEW hotspot. This once sleepy fishing village is quickly becoming a paradise for those who surf or sun worship. So, whether you want to indulge in a rooftop yoga session at sunset, a camel ride along the beach or hit those waves, it’s the perfect pick to get back to the heart of Morocco.

Book a room at the Munga Guesthouse for an authentic experience right near the beach. Go for our blue Della skirt and pair it with our Cynthia Tee for a look that draws inspo from the culture by way of embroidery and pattern. Wear with slip on leather sandals and a cross body bag for exploring.

Beeline for Budapest

There’s no better time to visit Hungary than in December. Head straight to Vörösmarty Square in Budapest to explore the city’s oldest Christmas market. Browse the maze of stalls where you can check out everything from Christmas tree decorations to mountains of mouth-watering goulash. The nearby Opera House is the perfect place to see a ballet performance whilst simply strolling the streets with a mugful of mulled wine in hand feels magical.

When it comes to a festive city look then it has to be our Janet Cardi worn over our Rou Top and paired with our chic Kizzy Culottes. Finish with a chunky ankle boot, an oversized teddy bear coat, scarf and bobble hat for added warmth.

Now you know where we’re booking, it’s time to catch that flight and don’t forget to pack some epic outfits!
