This week, Britain’s most talented stars came together to celebrate the music industry. With live performances from Ed Sheeran, Adele and Dave, it was an epic display where everything from ballads to bangers were awarded with iconic statues.
Whilst the performances had us nodding along, it was the outfits that truly stole the show. From the sexy to the sophisticated, we loved the looks on the red carpet. Here’s our run down of the best dressed and keep your eyes peeled for a few tips on how to get the look with our collection.
Winning ‘Song of the Year’, ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Album of the Year’ wasn’t enough for superstar Adele, she also won our hearts with this stunning gown. Hugging her figure in all the right places, she gave us seriously sophisticated Morticia Adams vibes with this velvet dress. The sheer neckline and off-the-shoulder style looked timelessly chic, whilst the full skirt complimented her incredible figure.
Want to copy the dramatic silhouette? Our Li Gown in decadent black has a gorgeous nipped in waist and full skirt to give you those A-list curves.
Not many could pull off such a daring dress, but Maya Jama caused quite a stir in this cut-out ensemble. We love how it channels vintage Cher (minus the head dress) even down to the poker straight hair. A touch of sparkle from the accessories was all Maya needed to shine all night long.
Love the peekaboo detail but not feeling as brave as Maya when it comes to baring all? Our Fen Gown delivers cutwork detailing that shows some skin in a subtle way. With its fishtail shape and front box pleats, this is a dress that will have everyone wanting to give you an award!
Good for you Olivia Rodrigo! The chart-topping 19-year-old put some of the more established artists to shame with this shining metallic gown. Evoking memories of the mirror ball, we loved how she kept the silhouette simple and let the shine do all the talking. Keeping accessories paired back and her hair loose and down she ensured this look felt current and cool.
Love a sequin moment you can wear everyday? Our Jenny Dress with its swinging silhouette is perfect for those who long to glitter and glide all week long.
Griff won the 2021 Rising Star Award last year and, we have to say, she’s continuing to soar this year with this Avant Garde outfit. Whilst it’s not super wearable, we love how she’s gone outside the box and used black and white to make an impact. The PVC fabric shimmered as she walked and the whole look felt contemporary.
Mad for monochrome but looking for something a little more wearable? Our Teri Jacket and Dawn Skirt are the co-ord to covet! With a retro inspired print in black and white, you’ll evoke Griff’s vibe in a way that can be worn anywhere.
Whilst the red carpet saw a flurry of black gowns, Line of Duty star Vicky McClure went against the grain and opted for a top and trousers to bring a welcomed dose of difference. This incredible corset was a work of art and we love how unique its structure was. Perfectly complimented with some diamonds from Stephen Webster.
Jeans and a nice top never go out of style and a corset can instantly elevate your look. Why not try our Marieanne Top paired with our BTW Jegging for an outfit that will nod to couture whilst being comfy.
We loved seeing award ceremonies back with a bang – how we’ve missed the fashion! Here’s to more in-person events and, more importantly, in person outfits!
