I Weigh with Jameela Jamil
Two years ago popular British host and radio star, Jameela Jamil, started an Instagram account to try to create a safe and radically inclusive space on social media. This snowballed into a whole activist movement and manifested through her podcast channel ‘I WEIGH’. She introduces her community to guests on each episode from olympians to therapists to comedians and more; all chosen to share stories, discussions and experiences on all social issues that stem from mental health to climate change to the representation of marginalised groups. This podcast is designed to teach and open your mind and it’s a great place to find a new community.
Those Conspiracy Guys
This is a comedy, history and true crime podcast by host Gordo with a range of comical co-hosts. Dealing with everything from the classic conspiracy theories like aliens and time travel to more grounded historical provable conspiracies in politics and government. From a 5 hour episode on true crime serial killers to a 6 hour Deep Dive on religious cults through to another 5 hours on the existence of Vampires and back to a long one on Marxism; you will be entertained and thoroughly informed on the possibilities, probabilities and potentials from each case!
All-in with Chamath, Jason, Sacks & Freidberg
150 episodes down and counting, ‘All-in’ is the podcast that keeps on giving. Covering all things economic, tech, political and social issues with a dash of poker; this channel is a great way to stay on top of current affairs. Breaking down big topics and debating them between themselves on this podcast, these guys give viewers an opportunity for a deeper understanding of the world and views from different opinions of important subjects. The ‘All-In’ team hold event summits with guest speakers each year too, with ‘real speak and outrageous parties’ promised!
Good inside by Dr Becky
Dr Becky is a clinical psychologist, mom of three, and Emma’s favourite parenting guru at the moment. Breaking down new parenting techniques, stirring away from the popular reward-and-punishment model, Dr becky answers tough questions and provides actionable guidance in these quick 30 minute podcast sessions. The Louis Theroux Podcast
Iconic documentary and TV presenter, Louis Theroux, hosts a range of guests on his channel from Shania Twain to Craig David to Tan France in his deep dive podcasts. Spend an hour getting lost in these interviews, with candid conversations into the depths of these icon’s lives from career to upbringing and personal views.
