The Trend That Just Won’t Quit!

The Trend That Just Won’t Quit!

From cardigans to sweaters, co-ords to dresses, it’s safe to say we’re a little bit obsessed with knitwear. Cosy and chic in equal measure, it’s the perfect fabric to see you through this tricky trans-seasonal period when the incoming summer sun and remaining spring chill make knowing what to wear that bit more difficult.

And we’re not alone in our love for the fabric! The Spring/Summer 22 catwalks were filled with cute knits that we couldn’t get enough of.

Prabal Gurung, Michael Kors Collection and Brandon Maxwell all showcased retro inspired micro cardigans that had a shrug like feel, Miu Miu rocked chunky cable knits whilst Chloé and Khaite showcased stunning knitted maxi dresses that would look perfect teamed with a beach tote. Gabriela Hearst even made knits have sex appeal by adding in peekaboo cut outs!

So, let’s take a look at our knitted heroes from our latest drop – Kaleidoscope

Our Fleur Dress is a midi with impact!

Colour block panels in a lightweight knit makes this piece beyond flattering on any figure. Wear over the Asha Top with midi heeled court shoes to the boardroom or swap for the Alyssa Tee and sneakers to hit up your local brunch spot. Want to wow? Then knits even work for a night out. Wear it solo and pair with skyscraper barely there black stiletto sandals and our Astrid & Miyu Crossing Lines Hoops to have all eyes on you – all you need is a cocktail!

Could our Calix co-ord be any cuter?

Featuring our bold and beautiful butterfly print, we adore the cut of this set. A midi tube skirt and crop top with bold bands in block colours brings the perfect dose of fun to your wardrobe. Wear it with ankle boots and a leather jacket now and swap for sneakers and oversized sunnies for when the temperatures soar.

Pair it back with our Aza top

The perfect ribbed knit vest that can be worn in so many ways. With a pale blue colour block panel and chic slim straps, it looks effortlessly cool worn with oversized Mom Jeans and sliders by day, or switch it up and wear with our Marty Skirt and a pair of killer court shoes by night for a feminine outfit that will make everyone flutter.

Want to cocoon with Chiyo

There’s just something so comforting about a cardigan and our Chiyo design has become a fast-favourite amongst our Emma Wallace Women as a cosy and casual champion within their wardrobe. For the new season it’s reimagined in teal, grey and oatmeal shades, but its kimono inspired shape continues. Style it with our jeggings, Lace Lana Top and slippers for when you’re doing your zoom calls at home or throw it over our Ivy Dress with high platforms for a glam get up that’s still comfy even when there’s a chill in the air.

Knits have always been a favourite for us but we’re even more excited to be utilising this fabric now that we’ve made our supplier process more sustainable. We now work with an amazing partner who reduces fashion waste by using 3D CADs that we can approve – rather than creating physical prototypes that would otherwise end up in a landfill. We’re always seeking to reduce the waste that comes during the design development stage and this move has been so rewarding. Not to mention, using 3D CADS allows us to be even more creative as we can trial and test so many different designs!

In addition, we are focusing on 'limited edition' production quantities so we are not over producing to meet factory demands. Another way we’re trying to reduce our impact on the planet.
