This week our team hot footed it down to check out our collection on display in the iconic Wolf & Badger store in Kings Cross. With Design Director, Emma visiting the capital for a few weeks, she reunited with our British team members – Kara and Queenie to have a look at the beautiful shop set-up and immerse the staff in all things Emma Wallace.
Kings Cross has fast become a must-visit destination for those visiting the capital. With endless food options, quirky and cool boutiques, and plenty of pop-up activations to get involved with, it’s one to add to your bucket list. Here’s our favourite things to check out in the area:
If you’re looking to add some theatre to your dining experience, then Parrillan is your go-to! With a stunning alfresco terrace that overlooks the Regent’s canal it’s the perfect setting for a romantic date or a special occasion with friends. On each table you’ll find a parrilla – a grill filled with white-hot charcoal. Order your dishes and your waiter brings over a plate of delicious meats, seafood and vegetables that you can then cook on the grill. Fun and the perfect conversation starter, we’d opt for the 50-day aged steak, a side of Padron peppers and a glass of wine from the all-Spanish wine list.
Whilst the German Gymnasium was voted the ‘most beautiful restaurant in the world’, it’s the drinks we want at this Instagrammable hotspot. With Victorian Period features under a grand vaulted ceiling, you should climb the staircase to the Meister Bar for a mixology list that tastes delicious and will wow in the looks stake too. We adore ‘The Big Screen’ with Don Julio Anejo infused with tonka beans, cherry brandy, Amaro Montenegro, Tia Maria and rhubarb bitters. If the sun makes an appearance, then head to the outdoor terrace which has been transformed into a gin garden with luscious greenery. 
As the lights go down, head to Lafayette - a 600 capacity live music venue brimming with epic feature acts including Sigrid, Charli XCX and Frisco. Tickets are super affordable, and the venue also runs fun club and party nights for everyone to enjoy. Feeling peckish? The auditorium also includes a New Orleans-inspired bar called Sweetwater and a street food venue called The Courtyard where you can sample sushi and tacos. The perfect night out!

Step in to discover what’s hot from the very best fashionable independent designers around the world – including Emma Wallace of course! You’ll also find an epic curation of homeware, beauty and accessories. Once you’ve found the outfit for you, head to Edie Rose Florist within the store to pick up a bouquet of beautiful blooms. The perfect finishing touch!
On the Regent’s Canal you’ll find a quicky treasure trove that’s instagrammable and entertaining! Word On The Water is a super cute London bookstore on a barge. A book-lovers paradise this 100-year-old boat is stacked with rows upon rows of great reads – from cult classics to new, contemporary stories. Pick your favourite, grab a coffee, and sit by the Canal soaking up the inspiration.
