Celebrate The 4th Of July In Style

Celebrate The 4th Of July In Style

Whether you’re living in the US or not, the 4th July is the perfect date to celebrate. It may be a moment to commemorate when the Declaration of Independence was signed but, with the year we’ve had and lockdowns slowly lifting around the globe, that feeling of freedom has never been more relevant for all of us.

That’s why this week, we’re taking some time out to round up the perfect way to ring in Independence Day at home – whether you’re Stateside or further afield.

Read on and get ready to make the 4th count!

Grill To Greatness

Nothing feels more authentic on the 4th July than a BBQ so it’s time to get your grill on. Burgers, hot dogs and chicken wings are a must, but our BBQ choice is anything but basic. Try spicing up your meat patties with jalapenos, cheddar, and crispy chorizo. Don’t ignore the sides! We love grilled corn salad with feta, walnuts, and shallots. Need a sweet finisher? We’re a little obsessed with Rainbow waffle sandwiches, but you can’t beat a s’more melting marshmallow on a biscuit for that authentic American BBQ feel. Need a cute BBQ look? Our Aila Playsuit is the perfect summer outfit to wear for that garden get together.

Add Some Sparkle

We love a firework display but if you’re celebrating at home, then you can still add a spark to your occasion by bringing in a box of sparklers. Light them, spell out your name and commemorate your freedom in its glittering glory. Want to add another shining touch? Then our sequined Jenny Dress or Alicia Top will bring the dazzle in spades.

Mix It Up

We don’t need a special occasion to mix up a cocktail, but the 4th July is the perfect opportunity to show off a new shaken or stirred recipe. We’re loving a red, white, and blue sparkling blueberry punch which is both patriotic and thirst quenching in equal measure. For those who love an instagrammable moment, then a red, white, and blue Sangria will make for the perfect photo. Add star-shaped apple slices for the ultimate garnish. Wear our Lora Jumpsuit in navy for a relaxed yet glamorous look that pairs perfectly with these deliciously decadent drinks.

Nail It

Go beyond the traditional fireworks and barbecues by rocking patriotic nail art this 4th July. Channel the colours of the American flag for a red, white, and blue medley. Whether you prefer subtle stripes and simple stars, or want to go all out with glitter galore, your manicure is the perfect way to show off your independence in style. Don’t forget to add a touch of sparkle with our Astrid & Miyu Across The World Ring in yellow gold for the final finishing touch.

Bouquet Brilliance

We know the Emma Wallace Woman doesn’t do tacky decorations and that’s why we’ve come up with a chic way to dress your home for the 4th. Flower centrepieces in red, white, and blue are the perfect trio to add colour and show your pride. Grab a few stems of red, white, and blue wildflowers, and then fill in most of the vase with leafy greens to create a stunning showpiece. Want to pair your outfit to your floral display? Go red in our Janine Dress, white in our Gabriella dress or blue in our Maisey Gown. Why not choose all three and opt for outfit changes throughout the night? If you can’t be extra on the 4th July, when can you be?

So, what are you waiting for? Do your stars and stripes and get ready to celebrate!
