How To Celebrate The Festive Season

How To Celebrate The Festive Season

Tis the season to celebrate. There’s nothing we love more than the holidays and, whether you’re a mulled wine by the fire kind of woman or prefer the thrill of finding presents at a Christmas market, there’s something for everyone to get you in the festive mood.

Read on as we reveal five of our favourite things to do this Christmas, along with what we’d wear to each. After all, celebrating in style is what we do best!

Sip Something Santa Would Be Proud Of

Betty Jumpsuit Emma Wallace UK

We love a themed tipple and no one does it better than NoMad in London. Head to the Common Decency bar for their ‘Holiday Spectacular’ pop up – you won’t be disappointed! The chicest Christmas cocktails around, we’d order a ‘Not The Buttons’. This ‘nice’ gingerbread-inspired cocktail with Jameson Black Barrel and Chivas 15 yr, comes served alongside a gingerbread man and bottles of icing for you to decorate with while you sip. The cutest cocktail around! Prefer something stronger? Try the Candy Cane Colada – a giddy take on a pina colada starring Pernod Absinthe and candy cane. The festive spirit is made all that more fabulous with the appearance of London drag queen Maxi More who plays host each night, along with DJs, spontaneous surprises and entertainment.

A glamorous occasion calls for sparkle and our NEW Betty Jumpsuit was made for those moments when you want to dial up the party drama. Wear with skyscraper black stilettos and get ready to shimmy whilst you sip!

Carols But Make Them Chic

Ray Skirt Emma Wallace UK

Listening to Christmas carols is one of the most festive feelings you can conjure, but add the stunning backdrop of St Paul’s Cathedral, and you’ve got yourself something special! The legendary London landmark hosts a series of free, carol concerts each year curated by French composer Olivier Messiaen. A truly magical experience that will make you feel all warm inside.

We’d cosy up by layering our Janet Cardi over our Rou Top for a cute pop of clashing prints. Pair with our Ray Skirt and chunky ankle boots for a look that feels festive but full of catwalk potential.

Stash Those Stocking Fillers

Cam Jumper Emma Wallace UKWe love shopping for the ones we love and The Island Shangri-La Christmas Market in Hong Kong is the perfect spot for stocking up on those stocking fillers. Running until the 27th December, the stalls offer a series of Enchanted Wonders festive goodies, including advent calendars, chocolate bars with golden tickets, Christmas crackers, handmade chocolate nutcrackers, and more. Proceeds from sales of the limited-edition nutcracker bear plush toy ($120) will be donated to Heep Hong Society to support children with special educational needs in Hong Kong, so you can give back whilst you shop!

Keep it casual for this occasion with our snuggly Cam Jumper and BTW Leggings. Wear with a pair of sneakers and a cross body bag to keep those hands free for perusing the best picks for presents!

Go GaGa For Gingerbread

Marie Dress Emma Wallace UKWe love a cheeky piece of Gingerbread, but we love it even more when these sweet treats do good! Head over to the Landmark Atrium in Hong Kong to check out the ‘Gingerbread for Good’ event. 23 celebrity chefs have put their own spin on the classic gingerbread cookie. You can check out and sample creations by the amazing chefs at The Upper House, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, The Continental, Cookie DPT, and more. Proceeds will go to Box of Hope and Vocational Training Council’s Shine Skills Centre – so you know those festive foods will help the community!

There’s nothing cookie cutter about our Margie Dress which makes for the perfect outfit to soak up this cute Christmas occasion. The empire waist means you can eat as much as you fancy without compromising on your fit. Wear with chunky heeled ankle boots and throw over our sleeveless, knitted Bobbi Top for an extra layer that will keep the chill at bay.

Get Your Stylish Skates On

Sadie Skirt Emma Wallace UKOne of the absolute highlights of winter in London is the Ice Rink at Somerset House, London. Created in partnership with our favourite bubbles - Moët & Chandon, this magnificent ice rink features a stunning 40ft Christmas tree. Whether you need a skating lesson or you’re a pro, this is a seriously stylish rink! We love to head there after dark to check out the DJs on rink-side decks before sipping on a glass of the finest Champagne.

Why not bring some serious shimmer to the rink by wearing our Sadie Mini Skirt. Pair with thick tights to avoid any flashes as you glide and our Cynthia Tee to keep it cute.

With so many ways to get into the festive spirit, it’s time to deck the halls and trim that tree with some serious style in tow!
