Make It A Warm Welcome

Easter is a celebration of hope and positivity. Winter is on its way out and the promise of sunny days fills us with happiness. Nothing showcases this new uplifted feel like a sunny wreath on your door that sends out a happy vibe to your neighbours. Whilst wreaths used to be reserved for Christmas, they’re fast becoming a year-round trend and a spring themed roundel of beautiful foliage is the perfect touch to lift your spirit and elevate your décor. Buy a ready-made beauty or make your own using a rattan wreath base and add a mix of greenery, faux or dried flowers, and decorative eggs. Secure the bundles of foliage and flowers to the base using floristry wire and make sure that each bundle covers the stems of the last for a professional result.

Create A Centrepiece

If you’re lucky enough to be able to entertain this Easter (be it in the garden or at home) then it’s time to up your table décor game with an instagrammable centrepiece. Nothing quite has the wow factor like an Easter tree which creates a focal point that feels effortlessly chic. Use willow branches and spray paint them white. Pop those branches in a glass jar and fill with moss and eggs to secure them in place. Finish by hanging seasonal decorations to create a delicious feature that will make your guests smile.

Indulge In Dough

Hot cross buns are one of our favourite easter treats. Whilst chocolate may take priority during the day, we love a decadent dough as an afternoon delight. Bake the traditional recipe but add a twist on the serve. Position the buns in a wreath shape surrounding a bowl of spiced honey butter. Tear off a piece and dip for a truly indulgent feast. Try this recipe from BBC Good Food and don’t forget to tag us in photos of your creation!

Mix Up Some Merriment

We love a cocktail at any celebration but Easter provides us with the perfect occasion to serve up something a little different. Our favourite recipe has to be a simnel cake sour! All the flavours of a traditional bake in a tumbler. A twist on the classic amaretto sour that brings in cinnamon, mixed spice and ginger alongside a splash or orange juice. Garnish with a marzipan ball for an extra special flourish.

Flourish In Florals

An Easter garden party isn’t complete without florals and our NEW Labyrinth edit is filled with scent-sational prints that will nod to nature and celebrate the seasons changing. We love our Penny Romper as the perfect playsuit to enjoy the long weekend in. Comfy enough to lounge around on the grass, the long sleeves will also keep any chill at bay whilst ensuring you look chic. Pair with tan leather sandals, pull your hair into a high pony and throw on some Carla Colour shades to complete the look.

Now you know how to make your Easter glow, it’s time to crack open the chocolate and get ready to enjoy the celebrations.
