You don’t need the fanciest place or the most expensive turkey to have a good time… although that’s nice! From dinners out to keeping it local, here’s all the way we'll be celebrating Christmas dinners with our loved ones for a festive feast with memories to cherish.

Plan an evening over at your favourite local pub with your friends and family, with a pre order of Christmas dinners to go around and a couple of pints. You couldn't want a more wholesome Christmas celebration; catching up, playing pool and singing along to Christmas classics on the music machine. This may not be the best culinary craftsmanship on the list, but arguably the best atmosphere! Keeping it local, low key and super affordable because sometimes the best celebrations are the simplest.

If you’re over in Hong Kong, why not try something untraditional for Christmas celebrations. Lung King Heen is a culinary gem and a great spot to go to over the Christmas period. Christmas Dinner

When going out proves too hard to find a date/location/ time to fit everyone, just don’t. Still get the family together, but stay at home- one person volunteers to host and everyone else brings a bowl. Someone on the roasties, another on the sprouts, apple sauce, honey glazed carrots and of course the someone brings the mulled wine too. The best part of this is that you can make exactly what you want so everyone is catered for: Turkey, cranberry nut roast, beef wellington, you name it! This is a great idea for a big family with young kids and with older grandparents too, everyone is comfortable and most importantly together.

Christmas Dinner

Celebrating with family and friends is at the heart of Christmas, but take a moment to celebrate this special time with your special someone too. Opt for any of the above in terms of location and dining experience, as long as you create a moment for time together to slow down from the Christmas shopping chaos and parties, and take in the festive atmosphere together. Candle lit dinners or a sandwich in the kitchen after the kids are asleep, romance is very much alive during the most wonderful time of year, so savour a little of this Christmas magic just between the two of you.

Whichever style of feast you choose, the true essence of Christmas lies in the joy of coming together with family and friends, sharing delicious food, and creating lasting memories. So, let the Christmas culinary adventure begin and may your Christmas dinner be a feast to remember.
