Last week we had some serious fun at our flagship as we invited some of our favourite Emma Wallace Women to our store Christmas Party. As butterflies (our muse for the season) decked the trees to bring our winter collection to life, the store was fluttering with festive cheer.
Didn’t manage to make it down? Here’s the inside scoop on what went down at our merry event…
Bubbles & Biscuits
We don’t know about you but, for us, a party begins with the snacks and drinks! Guests were treats to sparkling glasses of prosecco, alongside shortbread bites, mini nougat, and pretzels. Sweet and salty always hit well together! Perfect for fuelling our guests for the games to come…
The Fun Of The Festive Fair
Nothing delights us more at Christmas than a few gorgeous games – especially if there are prizes! Our guests took part in a tinsel-tastic tombola game where they spun the tin to be in with a chance of winning one of our perfectly printed face masks (much needed right now), a chic hair accessory or an indulgent silk scarf.
Craft But Make It Chic
For those who wanted to show off their creative side, guests could create their own snow globe jar with little trees and glitter beads to add that winter effect. We have to say, the results were rather epic! The Emma Wallace Women are a talented bunch when it comes to crafts and showcasing their unique style.
Style Santa
Tis the season to give and, this year, we brought in the wonderful personal and interior stylist, Moushumi Khara (aka the Lifestyle Editor) to gift everyone with some top tips on styling their Emma Wallace look for the season - including our beautiful butterfly print.
Her key piece of advice? If you’re buying a new item for your wardrobe – always make sure you can style it at least 5 ways to make the most of it. We believe in buying less, but buying well, so absolutely loved this style nugget!
Showing us how it’s down, Moushumi paired our Yen Top with the Pillango Skirt for a matchy-match moment, but also showed us how to wear it with the Kizzy Trousers to mix it up and convey a whole different vibe. Moushumi also pulled out our Hesper Tee as a hero, showing how to wear it with our Pillango Skirt, before pairing it with our Sienna Khaki Trousers. Both the Yen Top and Hesper Tee looked killer with a black leather skirt too – showing the potential of these pieces.
When it came to our Emma Silk collection, Moushumi loved the Kiku Nighty and showed us all how to transform it for day and night. Pair with a denim jacket and trainers if you’re heading to brunch, wear over a white tee with sneakers for running errands or go for an oversized blazer and sky-high heels to hit the bar in the evening. One piece – so much potential!
Robot Guests
Whilst some of our team are now based in the UK, it was great to utilise tech to let them attend the party! Kara our Content Creation Editor joined virtually on an iPad robot all the way from England, allowing her to mingle and chat to guests whilst controlling the movement all from the comfort of her own home. Tech never felt chicer!
With so many amazing guests in-store, we loved showcasing the perfect mix of style, fun and sparkle. We’ll have more parties coming in the New Year as we launch more collections so keep your eyes peeled for the invite! In the meantime, we wish you all an amazing Christmas and wonderful New Year.
