Face Mask For Those In Need

Face Mask For Those In Need

With Covid-19 looming around globally for the past 4 months, it can put a damper on life and make us forget the importance of helping each other out in times like this.

Face masks are hard to come by in different countries and it seems that hospitals will be facing a shortage in the near future, so we’ve decided to dedicate part of our resources to create non-surgical face masks with our one-of-a-kind prints.

All our masks are sewn with an interior pocket in which additional filter materials can be inserted for added protection, there’s a thin metal strip that helps shape around the nose and all masks come with elastic ear loops for added comfort. During the cutting and sewing process, all staff are required to wear surgical face masks and gloves to ensure there’s no contamination throughout.

First round of masks produced will be donated to the Merton Mutual Aid (Website / Twitter) in the UK for a community of volunteers that provides support to vulnerable groups and those in self-isolation in the London Borough of Merton due to Covid-19. We hope to continue in producing more of these masks for donation if resources allow in the future.

We hope our tiny efforts can help those in need and we would like to give a special thank you to Vivian (@vivmaisonvogue) for connecting us with such a worthwhile initiative.
