‘The Bag’ doesn't refer to a physical bag but rather the concept of the possessions one keeps inside any bag of choice, transferring between bags. Taking the appearance of a tote, a satchel, a rucksack, a fanny pack (though hopefully not) or a clutch, depending on the woman, occasion or outfit. These items are equally precious and indispensable to the owner and in a predictable turn of events; the majority of us carry the same nonsensical essentials around with us!

In a small gesture of self-care, we always seem to carry a pack of half opened ibuprofen, a random few throat lozenges or just any pain relief of choice in our bags. Put it down to our caring maternal instincts, preparing us for that ‘just in case’ headache, a friend needs some light relief from a stomach pain or you suddenly come down with a cold.
Ok, this one is specific but relatable… throwing a pair of sunglasses in the bag during Summer months (if they’re not glued to the top of your head) and as Winter transcends, the sunglass’ bag space is replaced with a compact umbrella. Both specifically essential in-the-moment accessories we can’t leave home without!
