Summer Holiday Style

Summer Holiday Style

Summer is officially in full swing, and we couldn’t be more excited! We know the Emma Wallace Woman loves a touch of wanderlust and, with travel finally back on the agenda, we know you’ll be busy mapping your bucket list of destinations.

Read on as we reveal the five places we want to visit and, of course, what pieces from our latest collection we’d be wearing at each stunning location.

Now summer vacations may make you instantly think of exotic destinations, but Stockholm is one city that hits a new height in warmer climates. Whether it’s cycling through the city on a bicycle or heading out for a dip off one of the lo-fi islands nearby, this Swedish city offers the perfect blend of busyness and beach. We love the Sofo neighbourhood with its buzzing cafes and artisan shops. There’s also an epic food scene that’s perfect for those wanting to indulge their love for gourmet.

For a look that can take you from strolling the city streets to a fine dining experience, then it has to be our Reta Jumpsuit. The chic black cropped wide leg style looks effortlessly cool worn with chunky sliders, oversized sunnies and a rattan style basket bag. Keep your hair straight and loose with minimal make up for a Swedish fresh feel.

Sweeping white beaches and crystal-clear blue waters, the Seychelles has to be one of the most tranquil and picturesque settings for any summer getaway. Fancy star spotting? Then head to the North Island where VIPs including George Clooney and the Royals have stayed in the cute thatched houses that sit suspended between the forest and ocean.

When it comes to a beautiful beach, nothing beats our striped Aster Dress. A relaxed maxi that looks beyond chic over a bikini. Go barefoot, fresh faced and loose waves by day then switch to a slicked back bun, pink lip, metallic heels with oversized hoops by night – we love the Astrid & Miyu Chunky Rope style.

Guyana, French Guiana and Suriname are some of South America’s smallest wonders, but also offer some of the most beautiful scenes you’ll ever see. Check out the stunning Kaieteur Falls before sampling some of the areas speciality rums. Take a trip in August when its dry season and why not add on a few days to check out Brazil before you depart.

Dial up the adventure with a jumpsuit made for wandering. Our Lora Jumpsuit in vivid, jungle green works perfectly with chunky trainers and a wide brimmed hat for sightseeing by day and equally as well with metallic barely-there heels and layers of gold jewellery by night – we’d pick our Astrid & Miyu Textured Oval Link T-Bar Necklace

Named the European capital of culture in 2019, Matera is an Italian gem you have to discover. With stunning weather and epic natural beauty, it’s filled with adventure, taste and fun. We love the Polina National Park for a day of adventure before sampling some of the finest regional cuisine. Rent a car and take a trip to Pompeii to discover the volcanic aftermath and immerse yourself in history that will leave you with everlasting memories.

A playsuit in a pretty print is the perfect choice for those looking to nail sightseeing style. Try our Juan Romper with its short sleeve wrap front In our Alar print and wear with comfy sliders to wander the city in. Opt for a soft top car for your rental and don’t forget our Alar Scarf and some oversized sunnies to complete that old fashioned Italian movie feel.

If you want to find a new side to Mexico then it’s all about checking out The Yucatan Peninsula. Head to Isla Mujeres to check out the beautifully big Whale Sharks before heading to Isla Holbox for daily sun salutations and candlelit dinners. The beautiful beaches and azure blue Caribbean Sea will have you feeling instantly inspired.

Nail the Mexican movement with our Delphine Shorts and Lilac Top combo. The pretty striped print will have you in a holiday mood that’s made for a Margarita. If the sea whips up a chill, throw over the Fah Fah Jacket as a finishing touch.

Now you know where we’re booking, why not inspire us and tag us in your wanderlust worthy holiday photos!
